A few simple things to know about belonging to the House.

What STILLNESS is

STILLNESS is a digital subscription giving members access to daily letters, quiet activities and a personal space at stillness.house. Some welcome experiences are available free of charge. A paid membership unlocks the subscriber experience. Content is for personal enjoyment and reflection, not professional medical or therapeutic advice.

Membership and payment

Monthly membership costs NOK 99 per month. Annual membership costs NOK 890 per year. The price and any applicable taxes and charges are displayed at checkout before you pay. Subscriptions begin when the order is confirmed and renew automatically at the same interval unless cancelled. There is currently no free trial.

Payments and subscription orders are handled using Wix and its payment services. A confirmation is provided after purchase. If a price changes, any applicable notice and rights will be respected before the new price applies.

How to cancel

You can cancel renewal at any time without a cancellation fee. Sign in at stillness.house, open My Membership, and choose the cancellation option. Cancellation stops future renewals; access normally continues until the end of the billing period already paid for. If cancellation does not work, email hello@stillness.house. Please cancel before the next renewal to avoid a further charge.

Refunds and your legal rights

For customers in Norway, the EEA and other locations where a statutory withdrawal right applies, you generally have 14 days after entering an online service contract to withdraw without giving a reason. You can exercise that right by sending us an unambiguous withdrawal request before the deadline. Where you expressly request immediate performance, a lawful proportional charge for the service already supplied may apply. Digital-content withdrawal exceptions apply only where the legal requirements for prior express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation have been met. We do not treat merely opening a letter as an automatic waiver of consumer rights.

Outside applicable statutory withdrawal, refund or consumer-remedy rights, charges for a started billing period are generally not refundable, though you can stop future renewals at any time. If we have charged you in error or the service is not provided as promised, please request a review. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory rights to refunds, repair, price reductions or other remedies under applicable law.

Your account and content

Keep your sign-in credentials secure and use the service lawfully. Content, illustrations, games and letters remain the property of STILLNESS or its licensors and are for personal, non-commercial use. You retain any rights you have in your own writing and drawings. We may change individual letters or features as the House evolves, but will respect mandatory notice, cancellation and remedy rights for material changes.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the House accessible, but short interruptions may occur for maintenance or technical reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or overrides rights under consumer protection law.
